Comics! applet:
* Do not write to the command pipe from the comics.sh process using the built in echo.
- This caused the process to lock infinitely when the Comics! process had been terminated without being able to clean up.
* Start a background /bin/echo process, and wait for it to complete at most 3 seconds, then kill it and clean up before starting anew.
