Use threadsafe death test mechanism.
GoogleTest warns that the default death test implementation is unsafe in the presence of threads, such as appear frequently in all our death tests.
Set the (slower) threadsafe death test method. Fixes: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1647573.
