Add bug pattern for catching X transitions.

Once or twice during a typical development cycle the X team will update
the X stack.  While all the pieces are making it out to the mirrors
users may be blocked from upgrading and may see this error message.

Less commonly, slow mirrors, unsupported binary drivers, or obsolete
drivers can also result in this message being displayed.
