Well I'm experimenting further so guess I should 
commit what I've been up to. It's bloody ugly
as I keep having to pass the parent object into
the child....I don't like this atall as it feels 
like there is no compartmentalisation.
Bah
Anyhoo I'll experiment with this and  then go back 
for a mighty refactor and fix my brain!
