== What is DaD? ==
DaD is a Merge-o-Matic-like (http://merges.ubuntu.com/) with open source code and rocking good features.

== Who maintains it? Under which license is it distributed? ==
It is mainly written by Adrien Cunin <adri2000@ubuntu.com> and Albin Tonnerre <lutin@ubuntu.com> and is licensed under the GNU GPL license.
The web UI is mostly written by Arthur Loiret <freacky22527@free.fr>. The code is under GPL as well.

== What does DaD use? ==
DaD uses MultiDistroTools (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MultiDistroTools) to create the packages lists, the update-maintainer script (available in ~ubuntu-dev/ubuntu-dev-tools/trunk) to automagically change the maintainer field if needed and Merge-o-Matic's REPORT file template.

== How to use DaD? ==
First, create the sid and gutsy-{main,universe} mdt dists. You also need the sid and gutsy deb-src in your sources.list.
Then, the first time or each time you want to update, run the script ./update gutsy {main,universe} /where/is/your/merges/dir/
Depending on which devscripts version you have, you may need to apply the patch for debchange.

== Get the code? Report bugs? ==
DaD uses Launchpad/bzr to manage the code and Launchpad/Malone for the bug reports: https://launchpad.net/dad/
