This test will check that Xfce4 Accessibility Settings opens either from a terminal window orfrom the applications menu and closes without error
- Open a terminal window, type
xfce4-accessibility-settings
at the prompt and hit the "Enter" key
- Accessibility dialogue window opens
- Click the top right "X" of the window's title bar to close the application
- Accessibility closes
- Point your mouse pointer to the Applications Menu icon and click it
- A menu drops down
- Point your mouse cursor to the 'Accessibility' icon under the "Settings Manager" section and click it
- Accessibility dialogue window opens
- Click the "Close" button
- Accessibility closes
This test will check that Xfce4 Accessibility Settings allows to enable and configure Assistive Technologies
- Open Accessibility either from a terminal window or from the applications menu
- Accessibility dialogue window opens with the 'Assistive Technologies' tab selected
- Tick the 'Enable Assistive Technologies' checkbox
- A message informs that Assistive technologies will be available at the next login
- Xfce desktop will be enabled and xfce4-session will load the required modules so the toolkit (Gtk) can communicate with Orca, the suite of utilities for the visually impaired
- Point your mouse cursor to the "Keyboard" tab and click it
- Selected/active tab changes to "Keyboard" tab
- Tick the 'Sticky Keys' checkbox
- Pressing key combinations in sequence instead of at the same time is enabled. For instance, Ctrl followed by C (instead of Ctrl-C) will copy selected text
- Tick the 'Slow Keys' checkbox
- The keyboard will not register a keystroke until the key is hold down for a certain length of time
- The default time is 500 milliseconds and the length of time is adjustable by moving the slider with the mouse
- Tick the 'Bounce Keys' checkbox
- The keyboard will not accept a keystroke until there has been a certain interval of time since the previous keystroke

- Acceleration delay (in milliseconds), Repeat interval (in milliseconds), Acceleration time (in milliseconds), Maximum speed (in pixels per second) and Acceleration profile options are enabled and configurable
This test will check that Xfce4 Accessibility Settings will open Help in a web browser
- Open Accessibility either from a terminal window or from the applications menu
- Accessibility dialogue window opens
- Click the "Help" button
- Online Documentation dialogue appears
- Click "Read Online" button
- Dialogue closes and browser opens at Xfce4 Accessibility Settings Docs
