get a more reliable current_view function - (there seems to be something quirky going on when launching sc, clicking on a featured app, clicking on the 'get software' in the pathbar, clicking on 'games', then going to 'provided by ubuntu', clicking on the first app, then clicking on 'get software' in sidebar - can't work out what is going wrong there..)
