stick to U+2BA1 U+202F (⮡ ) for tarent, not U+21B3 ↳ nor a breaking space

a smaller-than-normal space is required, but we don’t want it breaking;
U+202F is about as wide as U+2009, so use it; that’s ⅕ em because the
hair space U+200A may not be smaller than ⅙ em in less-than-extra-large
sizes to retain legibility (especially for when they surround em dashes);
note figure space U+2007 is also not breaking, and SI wants U+00A0 before
units but U+2009 as thousands separator (U+202F better as it doesn’t break)
