Bug 1166938: GUI clients can't authenticate with PAM plugin
This is a workaround to make MySQL Workbench to work with auth_pam_compat.
MySQL as of version 6.1.4.11773 build 1454 does not recognize error code
1698 (ER_ACCESS_DENIED_NO_PASSWORD_ERROR) as authentication error
(see http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=72536).
