<p>Ubuntuprojektet bygger på idéerne omfattet af
<a href="http://www.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/philosophy">Ubuntufilosofien</a>: at software bør være gratis, at softwareværktøjer bør findes på ethvert sprog, og at folk bør have ret til at redigere deres software på enhver måde.</p>

<p>Man kan søge hjælp til Ubuntu på mange måder.</p>
