<p>Inicie o Maxima com o comando &quot;maxima&quot;.  Maxima mostrar&aacute; a
informa&ccedil;&atilde;o de vers&atilde;o e uma linha de comando.  Termine
cada comando Maxima com um ponto e v&iacute;rgula.  Termine uma
sess&atilde;o com o comando &quot;quit();&quot;.  Aqui est&aacute; um exemplo de sess&atilde;o:
