polish documentation and fix use of AO_AGE

The documentation for AO_AGE has been referring to "revision" for ages.
Silly me, I thought "revision" reffered to "AO_REVISION", but no.
It referrs to "AO_CURRENT". I have *NOT* modified the interface 42 times.
In fact, most of the 17 AO_AGEs were not actually interface changes.

* VERSION.pre: Fix the documentation for AO_AGE !!!
* autoopts/numeric.c: (optionNumericVal): coalesce the "should we do this"
  testing.
* autoopts/tpl/optmain.tlib: fix indentation
* autoopts/version.c: Spell "function" correctly
* pkg/libopts/mklibsrc.sh: clarify a message and grab all the .m4 files
* xml2ag/xmlopts.def: spelling fix
