* init/main.c: Selectively compile out certain pieces when make is
run with CPPFLAGS=-DDEBUG, giving us a build that'll happily run from
a user terminal.
* init/event.h: Change the startup event to "debug" when built like
that, so we don't accidentally do bad things.
