      <p>They don’t really have a plan but Elmer starts singing the praises of both Dwarfoe and pretzels and convinces the others that they should go looking for yeast and wheat so they can make pretzels.  They go talk to Captain Mills who isn’t super helpful since she knows nothing about baking and doesn’t know where they can find a cart.  They go looking around various public buildings before Dubya just wanders off and steals a cart out of someone’s yard.  Captain Mills, who was suspicious when Gary kept asking if she had any…yeast <em>wink</em> had them followed and intercepts them at the gate out of town and takes the cart back to its owner.  They decide to just walk westwards to see if they can find some things.</p>

      <p>In the tavern a very scruffy human approaches Elmer and says he heard they’d been asking around about getting some…yeast <em>wink</em> and he knows where to find some if they want it.  He offers to guide them to it for a few gold pieces.  They interrogate him a little and it turns out his name is Ranken and he’s a miner, working in various mines near the town.  They follow him to a mine about ten miles north of town and he guides them through the first few passages.</p>

      <p>The player characters meet in the tavern around the map table.  After brief introductions and a discussion of their goals they decide to “go west” which would surely result in their untimely and horrible deaths.  Luckily, they’re intercepted before they can leave the tarvern by Sarah Mills, the Captain of the Westview Republican Guard detatchment.  She mentions there’s a notorious bandit gathering followers a day’s ride south of Westview and they don’t have the manpower to deal with the situation, she offers to compensate the characters well if they take care of the situation for her and return with proof.</p>

      <a href="/2018/10/24/cultists-abound.html">Cultists Abound</a>

      <p>Gary, Nahala and Elmer were waylaid by cultists on the way into town last session and, after finding a distinctive amulet on the cultists, were directed towards Tobias, a monk in town who might be able to provide information.  Taylor’s character decides they’re long lost relatives and refers to him as uncle, grandpa and papa constantly.  On his advice they go looking for a set of standing stones that are near a temple to the Cold Oracle, whose symbol is on the amulets.  They fought a couple ice imps and got some treasure, two sapphires worth 1000G or 333G for Gary, Elmer and Nahala.</p>

      <a href="/2018/11/29/more-cultists-maybe.html">More Cultists Maybe</a>

      <p>The party returns to Tobias after stopping to inquire with Captain Mills whether the Guard needed any assistance with anything.  Tobias directed them towards a wizard tower that had recently been reported to the west of town.  On the way they encountered another set of standing stones and spent the afternoon searching the vicinity for a similar temple to the one found previously, without any luck.  The built a fire on the altar in the center of the stones and the heat cracked the stone in the night, releasing a stone guardian which they killed remarkably easily, they found a selection of pieces of precious metal embedded in the guardian worth another 400G or 100G per player.</p>

      <a href="/2018/12/12/the-amazing-appearing-tower.html">The Amazing Appearing Tower</a>

      <p>Gariar and Nahala introduce themselves, clumsily, to Mito and mention the day before they’d been in search of a wizard tower that Tobias Moss had asked them to look for and bring back any books or scrolls from.  She agrees to join them because she has a package for The Wizard Tower.  Apparently she’s just returned to town to deliver a package to the Mayor in some kind of weird Transporter kind of gig, which is weird because Westwatch doesn’t have a Mayor.  She negotiates with Nahala to call him Nancy if she tells him what the package was, which she does, very vaguely.</p>

      <a href="/2018/12/22/undead-out-there-somewhere.html">Undead Out There Somewhere</a>

      <p>Elmer, Mirime and Ovilyn are sitting in the Tavern when Sarah Mills comes in and demands to know if Elmer knows where “that elf you hang around with” is, referring to Mito.  Apparently Sarah is concerned that Mito claimed to have delivered a package to the “Mayor” when Westwastch doesn’t have a Mayor or, if it does, it’s Sarah.  Since Elmer doesn’t know where Mito is, Sarah asks if they’d like to take care of a little problem that’s come up outside the town.  Travelers coming from the west south west have been reporting encounters with the undead and while no one is sure where they’re coming from, the undead are a problem you want to get a handle on before it gets too bad.</p>

      <a href="/2019/02/01/groundhog-day-motherfuckers.html">Groundhog Day Motherfuckers</a>

      <p>The party meets in the tavern in the morning where the talk of the town is an ominous, perfectly circular storm cloud hanging over the land thirty or forty miles to the southwest of town.  The decide to investigate, Nahala gives Captain Mills a dirty look while leaving town which totally fails to both Captain Mills at all.</p>
