indicator-muteads is an application indicator that checks for the title being
17
played in Spotify application by querying the relevant Xproperty, and compares
18
it against the blacklist file. When a match is found, it uses pulseaudio
19
server to mute the corresponding sink-input. The indicator menu provides Mute
20
and Unmute buttons to mute/unmute Spotify while also adding/removing the
21
current title to/from the blacklist of advertisements. The modified list is
22
written to user's home directory and read upon start. The package includes a
23
default list when no file is found in the home directory. When it auto-mutes
24
the playing title, indicator icon changes color.
