* New upstream release:
  - add AF_UNIX socket support
  - fix sigsegv if config file is deleted (LP: #525926)
  - the following debian bugs are closed by this upload:

    + hwmon made compatible with kernels >= 2.6.31 (Closes: #556926)
    + text_buffer_size change is well documented (Closes: #519401)

* This release is based on the Ubuntu package with the following changes
  necessary for Debian (Closes: #536320):
  - change control and rules to build correctly on non-Linux arches
    (Closes: #536326)
  - updated NEWS, descriptions in control and changelog
  - change archive area to contrib
* Change priority of metapackage to extra

The Debian package is built using the default values of the enable/disable

switches for configure. In particular, it does not enable "audacious",
9
 
"bmpx", "smapi", "nvidia" or "eve-online". Users who want a version
10
 
of conky with these features enabled will have to re-build the package
11
 
after appropriate changes.

In any case it is *strongly* recommended that each user of "conky"
17
 
create a configuration file in $HOME/.conkyrc based on the sample in
18
 
/usr/share/doc/conky/examples/conky.conf.gz. This way any
19
 
unexpected error messages from conky would be your own fault :-)
