As at this writing, Debian has two OpenInventor libraries, one from

SGI (libinventor0) and one from SIM (libcoin20).  For simplicity, I

have chosen to initially build SoQt against Coin only.

Similarly, Debian contains versions 2 and 3 of the Qt library.  This

package links against Qt version 3.

If you wish a package built against SGI inventor or Qt v2, please let

me know.  In the short term, you can build your own package using

"apt-get source soqt", changing the control file, and rebuilding.
