* New upstream maintenance release.
* Acceleration options are only enabled for x86 and x86-64 targets.
  This fixes most technical issues, and slightly confusing behavior of
  the emulator is now documented in README.Debian. (Closes: #399520)

The proprietary QEMU Accelerator module is only available if both host

architecture and guest architecture are x86, or both are x86-64. No

other combination will be accelerated.

You should leave Emulator->Acceleration->Enable toggled, if you have no

good reason to change it. This does not explicitly enable the use of the

accelerator module, but only allows it to be used if available.
