In the tavern a very scruffy human approaches Elmer and says he heard they’d been asking around about getting some...yeast *wink* and he knows where to find some if they want it.  He offers to guide them to it for a few gold pieces.  They interrogate him a little and it turns out his name is Ranken and he’s a miner, working in various mines near the town.  They follow him to a mine about ten miles north of town and he guides them through the first few passages.
