This document only describes the differences between the upstream and the

Debian version. Please refer to the README file for the regular documentation.

An important difference between the upstream version and this Debian package is

the location of the firewall scripts.

According to the Debian policy the firewall configuration is in

/etc/default/arno-iptables-firewall.

By default, custom iptables rules can be placed in

/etc/arno-firewall-custom-rules. This file is automatically parsed by

the init script. Initially there is no such file. It must be created first,

if required.

If you want any logging of firewall events, you need to enable it in

/etc/default/arno-iptables-firewall. Additionally you have to configure

your sysklog daemon appropriately. In case of sysklogd this means essentially
