<h2>Ubuntu One Website</h2>

You can do many things from the Ubuntu One website. Go to the <a href="https://one.ubuntu.com/auth/login/"login page</a> to start.

 

The page you will be directed to shows an overview of your account. Click the <b>Files</b> tab to view your files. You should see the file you placed in your Ubuntu One folder listed here. Clicking <b>More</b> will give you several options:

<ul><li><b>Publish file</b> - creates a short URL for the file that can be shared with anyone</li><li><b>Download</b> - download the file to any computer, even if it doesn't have Ubuntu One</li><li><b>Delete</b> - deletes the file</li></ul>

 

At the top of the page, there are three more notable buttons.

<ul><li><b>Upload file</b> - Upload a file from the current computer</li><li><b>New folder</b> - create a new folder</li><li><b>Share this folder</b> - share the currently viewed folder with a friend</li></ul>

 

If you share a folder with someone else, they will have access to that folder and all subfolders. You can choose to give read or read-write permissions.
