What is Bluetooth visibility?

25

26

Bluetooth visibility simply refers to whether other devices can discover

27
your computer when searching for Bluetooth devices. When Bluetooth visibility

28
is turned on, your computer will advertise itself to all other devices within

29
range, allowing them to attempt to connect to you.

30

31

Your computer does not need to be visible to search for other devices, but

32
those devices need to be visible for your computer to discover them.

33

34

After you have
,

35
neither your computer nor the device needs to be visible to communicate with each

36
 other.

37

38

Unless you or someone you trust needs to connect to your computer from

39
another device, you should leave visibility off.
