* Resynchronise with Debian.  Remaining changes:
  - Make 'uname -i -p' return the real processor/hardware, instead of
    unknown.
  - Build-depend on gettext:any instead of on gettext, so that apt-get can
    properly resolve build-dependencies on the tool when cross-building.
