<p>I <em>tasti singoli</em> consentono di digitare le scorciatoie da tastiera un tasto alla volta invece che dovendo tenere premuti tutti i tasti insieme. Per esempio, senza questa funzionalità, la scorciatoia da tastiera per passare da una finestra all'altra, <keyseq><key>Alt</key><key>Tab</key></keyseq>, deve essere eseguita tenendo premuti entrambi i tasti assieme. Attivando i tasti singoli è possibile compiere la stessa azione premendo e rilasciarando prima <key>Alt</key> e successivamente <key>Tab</key>.</p>
