<h1>Setting Up Your E-mail</h1>Sending and reading e-mail messages using Ubuntu is fairly straightforward. Ubuntu comes preinstalled with Evolution, a collaboration software which is used as the system's default e-mail client. 

 

To set up Evolution, click on the Envelope icon on the Top Panel (Messaging Menu), then click Mail.

 

You can also go to the Applications Menu, click on Internet, and select Evolution Mail.

 

This will bring up the Evolution Setup Assistant.

 

Note: Aside from being used as an e-mail client, Evolution can also be used as a calendar, contact manager and a task or to-do list manager.
