<h2>Changing the Screen Resolution</h2>

 

<screenshot src="images/desktop-configuration_preferences-monitors-menu.jpeg" height="250" style="float:right;" /> You can change your screen resolution settings to make your desktop look better. To do this click on System ▸ Preferences ▸ Monitors. This will display the Monitor Preferences window. 

 

Refer to the Resolution drop down list and select the resolution settings you wish to use. Click on the Apply button. 

 

You will be prompted to either keep the new configuration or revert to the old resolution settings. Click on the Close button once the resolution settings are to your liking.
