<h2>Visual Effects</h2>

Ubuntu lets you choose the level of visual effects you want in your desktop. To do this, go to System ▸ Preferences ▸ Appearance and choose the tab Visual Effects. Here you can choose between no, normal, or extra visual effects. Remember that for extra visual effects you would require graphical acceleration. Most computers will be able to handle any of these three settings, but if you experience sluggish animations, you can turn down the settings.
