To get started with Ubuntu One, you will first need to sign up for the service. To do this, start up your browser and go to <a href="https://one.ubuntu.com/plans/">https://one.ubuntu.com/plans/</a>. You can either sign up for free or purchase one of the available plans.

 

Follow the instructions on screen and input the necessary information. When you have completed this you will be able to sign in to your Ubuntu One account.

 

Note that Ubuntu One also allows you to use your <a href="http://launchpad.net/">Launchpad</a> ID to login. This ID can be used to log into many other websites using something called OpenID.
